  1. After spending many hundreds of dollars buying Cubase and then Sonar, I finally bought the $60 Reaper and love it. It has a 2 month free trial and only costs $60 if you chose to buy it… It has a very large online community, and was developed by Justin Frankel, who created both Winamp and the Gnutella peer-to-peer file sharing network… It’s incredibly modifiable, has hundreds of skins and formats, supports Midi and audio ….. Can’t beat it for the price.
